Former Newton attorney E. LaVerne Epp of Lawrence is the search committees candidate for president of Bethel College. The announcement, made Tuesday on campus, precedes Saturdays Bethel College Board of Directors meeting at which the board will consider the search committees nomination.

Thats right. KBCU 88.1 FM is back on the air. Some of you, actually most of you, have no idea what this means, but dont worry, its understandable. Two and a half years ago, the notable relic of KBCU, the Bethel College radio station, was vanquished due to various mind-numbing complications that are difficult to wrap ones finger around.

As the Bethel womens tennis season ended two weeks ago at the KCAC tournament, just a heartbreaking three points shy of a regional berth, so ended the stellar tennis career of senior Kristin Bohnenblust. The lone senior on the team, Bohnenblust racked up numerous honors in her four years at Bethel, culminating in KCAC Most Valuable Player this season.
