Yoder to present annual Bible lectures

Seminary professor and Hebrew scholar Perry B. Yoder will present a series of Bible lectures Feb. 24-26 at Bethel College, North Newton. A former Bethel College professor, Yoder has taught at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Ind., since 1984.

“My best friend’s album”

I went browsing through my computer today and, to my surprise, discovered a promotional advance copy of one of the hottest musical projects to come out of Bethel in years. The project, aptly titled “My Best Friend’s Album”, is a delightful musical tribute to the movie “My Best Friend’s Wedding”, which stars Dermot Mulroney, Rupert Everett, and some other chicks. At first I was reluctant to listen, worried that the film would be grossly misrepresented...but this passed, as I fell in love with the songs more with each listening!
